When I think of Milford on Sea I think of…
How lucky we are to live where the New Forest touches the Solent. There must be very few places that offer such a wide variety of natural amenities for outdoor activities. We lived for several years in Northern California, which we always considered to be a little bit of paradise – Milford on Sea is even better.
MY FAVOURITE BEAUTY SPOT IS…
The village green. The view from the benches at the top captures all that we love about our wonderful village, including the excellent shops and restaurants and of course, the memories of the summer music festivals.
MY SECRET SPOT IS…
Taddiford Gap. It’s always quiet and a great place for an evening swim.
MY TOP PLACE FOR A DRINK…
The Beach House, especially in summer when it’s possible to sit outside and soak up the afternoon sun.
MY FAVOURITE INDEPENDENT SHOP IS…
Village Veg. Best eggs we’ve ever had!
MY MILFORD ON SEA FOODIE WEAKNESS IS…
It has to be Britannia Thai.
