The welcoming town of New Milton offers the best of both worlds, with plenty of high street shopping, offering chain and independent shops, a local recreation centre and an arts centre with regular performances to enjoy.

Head back to the coast and enjoy breathtaking cliff-top walks with views across to the Isle of Wight, try your hand at fossil hunting along the Barton on Sea shoreline, or relax in one of the many coastal cafés and restaurants. Whether you’re after scenic strolls or a place to unwind, Barton on Sea has something for everyone.

Venture further into the New Forest to experience its unique landscape and spot free-roaming animals in picturesque villages such as Brockenhurst and Burley.

Alternatively, visit the historic coastal town of Lymington. This vibrant and colourful seaport is steeped in maritime history and offers plenty to see and do – from exploring its heritage and browsing independent shops to enjoying excellent food and drink or simply relaxing by the water.
