Tony and Becca first came to Milford in Sea in 2016 and Saltwater was born.

​In June 2023 Saltwater’s sister Melleford was opened with the continued ethos of having a menu that supports the best local suppliers by serving fresh delicious seasonal meals.

​Throughout the day breakfast, brunch and lunch meals are served, cooked to order, and meals are complimented with coffee and teas served from local suppliers (or a cocktail or a glass of wine!). Sundays roasts are also served from 12pm-5pm on Sundays and bookings are recommended.

​Melleford will soon be open with a new exciting evening menu with homemade desserts and fabulous cocktails….details coming soon!

​The name Melleford originates from the domesday book when the village (now called Milford on Sea) was a Saxon settlement. Melleford over looks the green which is the last remain ancient common land.

​Tony and Beca are extremely proud of its relaxed and friendly restaurant and hope that you visit and enjoy its beautiful environment. It is recommended that you book a table as the restaurant gets busy especially in the summer months.
