Welcome to Delicious on the Green – a new family-run bakery that is a true labour of love by Tarynn & Gary, along with holiday help from their three boys! They are excited to share their passion for fresh, delicious homemade food with both locals and visitors alike.

Their bakery specialises in a delicious range of takeaway favourites, perfect for enjoying on the village green, by the sea or on a scenic walk along the coast. From traditional steak or vegetable Cornish pasties packed with flavour to golden, flaky sausage rolls, everything is freshly baked with care. Alongside these classics, they offer a variety of other baked goods, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

This spring, they are delighted to be launching its brand-new sandwich bar. Customers will be able to choose from freshly made cob rolls, baguettes, and ciabattas, all filled to order with a selection of tasty ingredients. To complement these, they will also be serving a variety of fresh, vibrant salads and ploughman’s —ideal for a light lunch on a warm day.

For those with a sweet tooth, their homemade cakes are not to be missed. Baked with love, they offer the perfect treat to accompany a cup of tea or coffee. It also offers indulgent Cream Tea Boxes, allowing you to enjoy a traditional cream tea wherever you please, as well as a range of ice creams that are perfect for cooling down during the summer months.

Visitors can relax and soak up the village atmosphere at its newly added outdoor bistro seating, located on the adjacent green. It’s the perfect spot to sit back, enjoy great food, and take in the fresh coastal air.

In addition to their own products, they are proud to support local producers by stocking freshly baked artisan bread from Breadport, available every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Customers can also place orders in advance to ensure they don’t miss out.
