Ferry to Hurst Castle
If you fancy getting out on the water whilst in Milford then one of the most popular boat trips in the area is the journey via the Keyhaven River on the Hurst Castle ferry, known locally as the Keyhaven ferry. You can pick up the ferry from the pretty village of Keyhaven, approximately one mile from Milford on Sea.

Here you can spot a large number of waders, wildfowl and other birds as the Keyhaven marshes is home to a wide range of habitat, including grassland, scrub, saltmarsh, shingle, fresh and saltwater reed beds.
