Danestream Manor is an exceptional and beautifully curated holiday house right in the heart of Milford on Sea. A stay here gives you easy access to cliff-top views as you head down to Milford’s wonderful beach and the village green surrounded by cafés, restaurants and interesting independent shops. They are all within an easy wander from the front door.

Sleeping eight guests and two dogs, this mighty home is a great choice for larger families and groups of friends. The cavernous open-plan kitchen and lounge are made for spending time together, whether you’re cooking, catching up over a glass of bubbles from the wine fridge or planning the next day’s adventures. There’s also a separate snug when you fancy a quiet moment, and a dedicated study for reading or screen time.

Upstairs, four very generous bedrooms, each so tastefully decorated and furnished, provide plenty of space for everyone. Two of the rooms open onto balconies overlooking trees of the nature reserve beyond the garden, and the master bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom.

Outside is a totally private landscaped garden which is every bit as impressive as the house’s design details. The layout is modern in aesthetic, softened by topiary bushes, shrubs and mature trees, plus ample lawns and space for dogs and children to run and play. The focal point is a large, covered pavilion decked with ambient lighting for when the sun goes down, creating another living space with comfy sofa seating and a full dining suite. It’s a wonderful spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner or simply to sit and relax, whatever the weather.
