About
Hello, we are Donna and Harry. The Paddle on The Green is an extension of our family run cafe in Highcliffe on Sea. We wanted to create a place where people could come to contemplate life and enjoy tasty, homemade food and drink, without having to do the washing up or put on a tie.
Harry and I put everything into The Paddle and are both really passionate about really tasty food and drink made from scratch, with love. We love to travel and explored a variety of cuisines and cultures and have been able bring our knowledge and passion back to our business.
We love to support local suppliers, with our Local Free Range Eggs, Butchers Bacon and Sausages, Locally Baked Bread, Dorchester Dairy Meggy Moos Milk and many more. All our cakes are baked by Harry’s Mum and our coffee is roasted in Bournemouth by Bad Hand Coffee Roasters.
We share our time between our cafe in Highcliffe, The Paddle on the Green in Milford on Sea and our daughter Ella who is 2 going on 22! We aim to ensure our team have a great work life balance so that when they serve you they are always smiling and full of beans!! Excuse the coffee pun!
Our menu consists of a variety of classic and modern brunch dishes, from a Buttery Bacon Ciabatta to our Smashed Minted Peas on Homemade Seed Loaf with Rocket Pesto.

- Monday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday: 8.00am-2.00pm
- Sunday: 9.00am-2.00pm
- Tuesday & Wednesday: Closed
