Established since 1985, Hillyfield is a small care home, allowing staff to really get to know its residents, looking beyond their age and seeing a lifetime of experience, knowledge and memories that can be cherished and shared within the home.
It provides high quality residential and dementia care, accommodating up to 17 residents. Each bedroom has a homely feel and includes an ensuite bathroom with either a bath or a shower. There is also a spacious lounge, dining area and a peaceful garden. It offers a varied menu based on the resident’s preferences and menus are reviewed on an on-going basis. There is always a choice and its cooks will go above and beyond to ensure residents enjoy each meal. Its staff is well trained and can accommodate special dietary needs and requirements.
Residents are encouraged to participate in planned activities, including mini bus trip outings to special events or scenic drives, exercise classes, games, arts and crafts, themed days, reminiscence and baking.
It also offers respite care for those in need of some convalescence following a period of illness or if your loved ones need a short break. Or perhaps you may be looking for a permanent residence in a place where you are cared for 24 hours a day and needn’t worry about cooking, cleaning or doing the laundry then Hillyfield could be for you.
