Traditional Tearoom/Cafe in the heart of Milford on Sea, opposite the village green on the High Street.
Under new ownership since August 2022 and now offering an expanded menu. Breakfast is served all-day and its Full English/Vegetarian/Vegan breakfasts, with a choice of hot drink included in the price offer excellent value.
Its freshly-made Pancakes are popular throughout the day. Can you conquer “Pancakes 3”? Four large pancakes topped with scrambled egg, crispy bacon and maple syrup!
It also has many other lunch options available from gammon, egg and chips, to pizza and jacket potatoes, as well as lighter snacks such as paninis/baguettes/wraps and sandwiches. A children’s menu is available too, so hopefully you’ll find something to keep the kids quiet for five minutes!
If it’s an afternoon refreshment you require, why not try one of its delicious Cream Teas (a large fruit or plain scone with clotted cream, strawberry jam and a pot of tea)? There’s also a wide selection of homemade cakes, with the Dorset Apple Cake being a firm favourite with customers.
If it’s a glorious sunny day, why not order from its takeaway menu and enjoy food out on the village green. And if you’re looking for a perfect gift to take home if you’re visiting for your holidays then Polly’s Pantry has a fine selection of chutneys, jams, fudge and shortbread biscuits.
