Visit Milford on Sea outside at Isle View

About

For a great holiday home close to open forest and the coastline, Isle View in the little village of Everton (just two miles from Milford on Sea) is an excellent choice.

This mid-terrace adult-only pad is set over two floors, with two double bedrooms and a fenced north facing garden with plenty of day-round sunshine at the far end.

A large lounge and dining area seating four guests (so you can invite friends over) has a gas fire, TV and DVD player. Guests can sink into two, two-seater sofas adorned with faux fur cushions and throws, plus a matching footstool for added comfort. It’s a beautifully bright and airy room flaunting an abundance of natural daylight.

When not exploring the excellent pubs and restaurants this area has to offer, Isle View’s kitchen provides everything you need to create a tasty supper. In the cooler months, eat in the dining area by the fire, and when the sun shines and the nights are warm, head outside to the garden patio, where you’ll find a table and chairs for alfresco dining. There’s also a little conservatory off the kitchen that houses a washing machine, a bistro table, and cane chairs in front of French doors leading to the lawn. It’s a lovely spot to sit with a morning coffee and have a chat to plan the day’s activities.

The main bathroom is downstairs and has a full-size bath with a shower, hand basin and WC. Head upstairs to two bedrooms. The first with views across to the Isle of Wight is a large double in subtle shades of soft grey and crisp white, showcasing a king-size bed, TV and ensuite WC and hand basin. The second smaller bedroom is home to a double bed with a large picture window and views over the garden and trees beyond.

This handsome little home is just a five-minute stroll to Everton’s great destination gastropub, The Crown Inn. A little further is The Royal Oak, The Mill at Gordleton and of course, all the great restaurants, pubs and cafes of Milford on Sea.
